🚨Unregistered Securities Hit ATH. Here's why...
PLUS put on the lab coat, it's time to decentralize some science.
🗞 Market commentary.
GM, got to move fast.
It seems like the Bitcoin rally still has some juice to squeeze, even though, as one of the best crypto quants Eric Krown says, above $47K is where we should prepare for a cool-off. But first, we need to make some Bitcoin maximalists salty and properly utilize the trickling down of liquidity.
ETH/BTC shaming reached egregious levels, which, as is traditional, preceded the current bounce. A quick glance over charts and we can see that Ethereum still has some catching up to do before we can speak of overextension. Not to mention the upcoming ETF narrative. Bitcoin ETF for 2023, Ethereum for 2024? Sounds good to me.
Interestingly enough, Bitcoin hovering around $44K did not spark any mania and Google trends shows only a slight uptick in interest. Whether a pullback occurs or not, we have a long way to go, and the trail leads upwards.
Speaking of being salty, the kinds of Max Keiser are even pushing for laws to ban Ordinals trading in El Salvador, unless they register as securities. Good thing there is a whole BRC-20 on-chain infrastructure being built as we speak and the NFT types of these so-called unregistered securities are selling for as high as 10 BTC a piece…

Science – But on the Blockchain
A quick glance at the current scene shows that on one side, degens (along with CZ Binance) are donning lab coats and planning for the decentralization of science, while on the other, shitcoiners are preparing BRC-20 infrastructure in anticipation of the now glaringly obvious Bitcoin ecosystem bull run.
The new buzzword 'Desci' is popping up all over CT.
Everyone can recall the wave of distrust (or on the other hand, blind trust) towards science during the period of that particular flu whose name shall not be spoken. Just as cross-border payments and seamless liquidity systems of DeFi removed friction from payments and finance, an open immutable infrastructure for science could help 'overcome economic barriers and allow worldwide resource sharing'.
A huge, transparent database for the scientific community sure sounds like a significant boost for evolution, however, it remains to be seen if this is or isn’t a re-run of the 2017 type of 'everything is better with blockchain' narrative.
However, uncertainty has never deterred crypto natives from good old speculation, from which several Desci projects are now benefiting, such as Vita Dao or Research Coin, a project which, among others, Brian Armstrong is working on. An interesting card in this case might also be the relatively overlooked Ocean Protocol, which plays into the AI, Desci, and data-sharing narrative simultaneously. Of course – DYOR (this might help).
Jokes aside, the old good shitcoins with zero use-cases are making a grand appearance on Bitcoin. BRC-20s shone through, especially in the form of ORDI, the first BRC token to surpass a billion-dollar market cap value. For such money, it's worth building infrastructure, which is realized by projects like MultiBit, offering a dual-sided bridge for cross-network transfers between BRC-20 and ERC-20 tokens. Ordinals NFT holders also rejoice thanks to Liquidium, enabling borrowing against your NFTs.
If you want to dive deeper into the BRC-20 narrative, definitely check out our friend Crypto Tube, breaking down more projects like Turtsat, BitStable, NHUB, and more.

@btc_charlie now that’s some A-grade hopium. Up your targets, frens.
🦍 And finally…
Remember the DOGE-1 Mission thesis mentioned in our previous newsletter? Well, it’s coming to fruition as the DOGE price action touched a celebratory 0.1 USD mark right on the birthday of our favorite doggo.
Naturally, these developments are (and most probably going to be) reflected in price action. Let me fire up IntentX real quick and slide this lever, very carefully… (not financial advice!).
Oh and did you notice Layer Zero airdrop is now finally confirmed? Rumors say bridging certain Gh0sts might increase the rewards. Speaking of airdrops, you can still have a lot of fun in the Solana universe, just play around with these protocols. Anyways, happy days.
