👀 All Eyes On April 2nd
PLUS all the AI news & narratives to keep an eye on!

GM, the path was chosen.
Since last week, we’ve been repeating that it’s highly possible for BTC to visit the last low, around $76k or slightly lower, before attempting a real and sustained bounce toward $90k.
The NYC open sent indexes back lower today, erasing yesterday’s upside. This means that for now, the dump-n-bounce scenario for BTC seems to be playing out. All in all, this one makes more sense since we usually see the markets de-risk before the FOMC, which happens tomorrow. There’s a 99% chance of no rate changes, so this one’s a nothing burger (here’s how it will go in a nutshell).
Also, Trump will sign some executive orders later today, at 3:30 PM ET. We’ll see if this causes volatility, especially if it concerns the trade war. Speaking about tariffs, Bessent just said that every country should get a tariff number on April 2nd. Perhaps that will mark the top the tariff scare season?
In summary, brace for more back-and-forth chop, with a possibility of lower, especially due to the weakness in US indices.

Crypto taxes? Absolute pain.
Sifting through receipts, crunching numbers — it's a yearly ritual of suffering. Throw crypto into the mix, and it’s full-blown chaos.
Now you’re juggling transactions across wallets, flipping between CEXes and DEXes, and wondering if that airdrop was a win or just a taxable headache. And let’s not even start on staking rewards…
Well, it doesn’t necessarily have to suck.

Smart-money movements on Solana: Fartcoin still in the lead, the consolidation/acummulation period for this one is looking promising. Once SOL gathers back strength, hot air will most likely rise again, and fast.

Smart-money movements on Ethereum: ones that stand out to me are Tibbir and Business. Business is a promising SPX competitor meme, while Tibbir is cooking some AI alpha with pretty big names.

Nous Research - Psyche Testnet Soon
DeepSeek showed us that open source LLM’s can actually compete and iterate on models by well-capitalised behemoths like OpenAI & Anthropic. Now we have Nous Research’s Psyche - a cooperative training network for generative AI, launching on Solana (testnet soon). No token yet, but it’s implied if you read between the lines on that page linked above.
You may know Nous for their open source Hermes LLM model, available for download on Huggingface. Last time I checked it was still the default choice for ElizaOS agent deployments.
Psyche is a new take on Decentralised AI training that dovetails a mix of different GPUs: Nvidia’s 4090s (consumer-grade), A100s (data-center-grade), and H100s (cutting-edge enterprise-grade) - all working together in a unified system.
This diversity of compute is coordinated onchain and powered by Nous’s DisTrO technology (Distributed Training Over the internet), which optimizes communication between these variably powered and disparate hardware options.
Think IO.net, but earlier stage development. Psyche will also focus on very specific training runs, whereas IO is designed for more generalised applications.
