As we mentioned yesterday, as long as Bitcoin closes above 67,000 dirty fiat dollars, there should be more relief on the way. And it was. As I’m typing this, BTC is hovering around $71K.
Now, with BlackRock pumping in another $322,400,000, the sentiment still being largely on the short side (I mean, this put ratio is nasty), and Trumpster heavily leaning into keeping crypto “America First” (read his full cryptoganda here), I have a sneaky feeling March could be a month of relief.
Altseason discussions are at an all-time low, and if we do get widespread alt relief, I think quite a lot of people would get caught off guard. Check out this chart from Bluntz, for example.
Continuing with the hopium (albeit it might be just short-term), we’re seeing the Fed pumping back liquidity like it’s 2021 again.
The real question now is how the geopolitical situation evolves and whether the SPX manages to keep it together here. Looking at this picture, I'm not so sure.
The hope? Entering a new paradigm where SPX and gold retrace, while BTC pumps (already happening). Chances of this being sustainable? Very low. Chances for a solid March? Definitely there.
Plus, the ISM is still holding steady above 50 and rising. We definitely want to see this trend sustained.
The last thing that worries me is Pentagon ordering way too many pizzas lately… let’s hope there’s just too many new Italian hired, otherwise…
