Even though Bitcoin is limp dicking around the past few days, it’s still above the critical $100k level. As long as that stays true, we simply have to aim upwards.

There’s something big coming up in one hour's time. Senator Cynthia Lummis just tweeted precisely that: “Something big is coming. Stay tuned for 10 A.M.”

Is the Bitcoin Reserve really coming? And if not, will this send us straight below $100k? I wish I could tell you which one it is.

For now, if we start breaking down after this limp dicking week, I wouldn’t be surprised for BTC to go back to range lows, around $90k. Will that be the end of the cycle? Most likely not; I will personally be a buyer there.

Technicals aside, we are at a headline risk in the upside environment. If a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve is on the cards, we will likely hear something today, as Cynthia Lummis alludes to on Twitter.

Even if it doesn’t mean the US Government buys more coins this year - they just start with the existing USG BTC holdings - it will signal the world about nation-state reserve assets, and we will see a new BTC all-time high today.
