Let’s roll, shall we? Watching $75 million worth of levered shorts get liquidated in 60 minutes is exactly the kind of poetry we enjoy as we officially kick off the 2026 newsletters. Noice.
Overall, at least Q1 (or the start of it, as we see now) is looking pretty damn promising. Macro-wise, fejau nailed this outlook mid-December. And here we are, whales are aping the F out of ETH, memes are full sending (more on this in Degen Corner), and ETFs are firmly back in positive flows territory (just after printing historical negatives - who would have guessed).
Looking at the BTC chart today, I’d say there’s a good chance this bouncy action continues. Flipping $93K should be a matter of time from here, considering the previous chart combined with some juicy bull divs on the 3D. Not ruling out short-term pullbacks, though, everyone is super hornt at the moment.
The big question is: can BTC conquer THE level of $107K? Until this particular battle ends with the Bulls dominating the field, we simply stay on our toes, considering this early-year phase bullish not on a whole new cycle basis, but, for now, just a short-term phase one.
Speaking of conquering, did you know Venezuela held as much BTC as Microstrategy? Supply shock, anyone? I mean, surely this will either remain frozen or be sent directly to the Bitcoin Reserve.
No wonder the mood is turning swiftly, with the Fear&Greed index flipping into neutral for the first time since October. I'd like to see a more reserved approach as we advance, without the market participants going full bulla-redact mode too fast, but we shall see.
I mean, I can't blame anyone, given the TOTAL market cap chart closing like this, in tandem with a weakening in USDT dominance.
At the same time, it’s worth remembering that some attention-worthy signals are pointing to cycle exhaustion. One of those is Michael Howell, the main man of the “global liquidity cycle,” which we have closely followed over the past two years. Michael is currently firmly bearish, explaining here why he believes the liquidity cycle peaked in 2025 and 2026 is poised to be a “risk-off environment” year.
And if you want some proper Bera Porn, watch this video full of long-term pivots and indicators, which, in the past, always led to a prolonged bear season. A silver lining here is that even if the Bera season continues, it might not take as long as usual, mainly due to structural changes in the market, such as the rise of ETFs, increasing regulatory clarity, etc.
But, at the same time, will the cycle really end just as the business cycle primes itself for expansion? I know, friends, it’s all pretty confusing. But it’s about to get way worse. Be ready for more daily briefings.

Unbelievable, considering what we saw in 2025, I know, but the fact remains that the meme sector's market cap surged above $45.3 billion, up 20.8% in just a week. I believe memes will continue to rise as long as the overall picture maintains the bullish posture mentioned above. Or, at least until BTC confirms yet another lower high.
The one memecoin that keeps returning to me, reminding me it might just be the next Mog, Retardio, you name it, is NEET. You might remember this one if you’re an avid newsletter reader, and yes, it’s still in my very often-opened tabs zone.
Fun fact: If you bought NEET the last time I wrote about it almost half a year ago (!), you would have lost almost exactly 0% of your investment at the time of writing this.
Simply put, NEET deserves way more than a mere $13M market cap IF the overall scene remains bullish. Just my view, not financial advice, you catch the drift.

Not a joke, but I simply have to fill this all with as much helpful stuff as I can. More on the privacy topic soon! One of the most important sectors to watch from here on out, imo.
