Just as doubt began creeping in over Bitcoin’s strength this weekend—mainly due to the upcoming FOMC meeting this Wednesday, which has a 96% likelihood of another 0.25% rate cut and shouldn`t surprise anyone—BTC charged up and cleared up all the liquidity sitting above $105k.

At this stage, being overly bearish isn’t the smartest play. Trump`s inauguration is right around the corner, with a chance of him executing an order to establish the Bitcoin Reserve on literally day one. We all know that Trump likes to pump the markets, would keep that in mind.

The race is heating up now that Bitcoin Reserve plans are alive in both the U.S. and Russia. The next one up seems to be Japan, and we can easily expect other nations to follow. Just like with ETFs, none of this is fully priced in yet.

And, of course, there`s good news for all the altcoin degens out there as well. Bitcoin dominance is currently bouncing, but everything is set to send as long as we see this bearish underside retest succeed.

Even DeFi, possibly the most sluggish category of this bull run, is undergoing a bullish renaissance. Trump is literally buying Ethena stacks on the chain; total DEX volume is surging, and stablecoin supply is hitting an all-time high; all the while, even memes got flipped in mindshare.
