What a day it has been! Pudgy Penguins launched its native token yesterday.  Few minted bucks, few lost bucks. 

Someone bought the token at a ridiculous $14 trillion market cap, and turned his $10k to $5 within seconds. Meanwhile, someone shrewdly converted $6 of PENGU into $87,000.

Peak ‘every coin has two sides’ exhibit. 

Anyways, right on the heels of the launch, PENGU broke into the top-#50 list, but the hype couldn’t sustain. We did witness a pull back, and now, the asset seems to be cemented around #70. 

Meanwhile, BTC is comfortably floating above the $100k mark. While the pump seems to be fundamentally driven, analysts see this number just to be the tip of the iceberg. 

Bitfinex released a report recently that said BTC would “stand at $145,000 by mid-2025, potentially stretching to $200,000 under favorable conditions.”

Vaporware.fun is a Hyperliquid-native AI agent launchpad built on ai16z’s popular open-source Eliza framework. It’s still quite early — the alpha release is not out yet, but the token has been live for some time. 

The price has been making strides since the 16th, after months of sideways movement. I want to buy under the point-of-control (red line) and as close to the 0.786 Fibonacci Retrace level as possible.

I suspect we have a few more days of consolidation to go here, just based on the size of the move we just had. That said, the market cap is still sub $10 million, which is low if we are pricing in a fully-fledged AI agent launchpad in the ecosystem.

Abstract has made its way into the top-3 L2s mindshare-wise. 

Tweets related to the alt-season are shrinking. They’re back to early-November levels. In fact, engagement wise also they aren’t faring that great at the moment. 

On one hand, the Sonic launch is being celebrated, while on the other, Kraken ended up launching its L2 network like an underdog around the same time. 

If you’ve been following blocmates news, you’d know that the network was initially slated to launch in Q1 2025. The team, however, went on to ship the network months ahead of schedule. 

When one of the world's largest CEXs builds launches EARLY due to demand… that sounds like PMF, doesn’t it?

The testnet phase was a big hit — over 1.22 million addresses fostered 8.17 million transactions on the network. Alongside, 90.6k+ tokens were deployed. 

The pre-launch numbers reflect the appetite, and the aforementioned numbers yell that Ink is gonna be a success. People are looking for quality L2s with strong backing and Ink is here to fill the void.

Dinero, Alchemy, Frax, Goldsky, LayerZero, Safe, RedStone and a bunch of other projects have already tied-up with the network. 

Ink is exactly where CeFi meets DeFi. Can’t wait to see what the future has in store for Ink.

GNON has pivoted from what at first seemed to be some kind of quasi-AI religion memecoin to an AI agent aggregator, potentially a technically valuable one if this conversation with the lead dev is anything to go by. The chart looks great and is primed to break out currently.

Bounty (ticker BNTY) looks interesting. Inspired by the series Westworld, it’s a virtual world inhabited by a swarm of wild west NPC agents. Market cap is sitting around $17 million and the price is currently consolidating. Anywhere below $0.015 down to $0.009 could be a good entry.

Two other projects that we’re eying from the tech point of view: Orbit (an AI agent creating the end-game abstraction layer) and Olas (a platform that helps you launch autonomous agents and co-own AI).

The chads at Sonic Labs have just rolled out their EVM-compatible L1 blockchain. Fantom and the FTM token will officially transition to Sonic and the S token. The new network will offer boosted incentives to devs and can process up to 10,000 TPS. In-house reviews suggest that the network is as smooth as butter.
