Well, except for the dead squirrel, we have a slide going on: the Bitcoin price slide and the Trump odds of winning. 

Many of us are asking, will the nukes go off? Yeah, well, maybe. But not for the Bitcoin: there`s a whole lot of people rambling about the weekly chart right now. Meanwhile, we`re here, making yet another higher high tick. 

The fear on the timeline was palpable this weekend, but if we look at historical statistics, it couldn't be more clear: election years are bullish for risk markets. 

Of course, this isn't financial advice, but I wouldn't be sure if losing position now is a good idea.

Nasdaq Composite 3D Log Chart, BTC overlaid (pink)

The Nasdaq is a good proxy for TradFi growth, and there’s a reasonable correlation with Bitcoin, as both thrive in high liquidity environments. The index has been in a clean log channel since October last year. We’re currently in the middle of the channel. With a Trump win, we likely head to the top of it. 

Harris promises to raise the top marginal tax rate and capital gains, so an initial dump makes more sense in the case of a Dem win. Bitcoin (in pink) is near the bottom of the channel. I suspect we go up in either case. Perhaps quicker with a Trump win. Both candidates will spend with gay abandon, so BTC runs in both scenarios towards the top of the channel is my current bet.

Also , watch for DXY and the sky high MOVE index to come down as election uncertainty resolves. Both are very bullish for global liquidity.
