Anyways, let’s check how our dear crypto bean markets fare today.
Onwards we march. Fear&Greed Index is still (!) hovering around 5, which is kinda crazy, especially due to the latest MegaETH and Layer Zero rollout (more on this below).
To add to the fearsome nuttness, let’s check out this chart. As Sykodelic wisely mentioned: “We set a new record for short-term holder realised losses at a staggering $1.5bn.” This is higher than the 2022 bottom, which led us straight into the start of the 2023 bull market.
On top of that, we’ve got $14 billion in unrealized losses in just the last 5 days. These numbers match the bottom exactly in 2022. Of course, the mcap is higher now, but still. h
I mean, yeah, I would expect some more chop as many others do. At the same time, I refuse to be as extremely bearish going from here. Eternal optimism reigns above our crypto beans.
Oh, and by the way, the world’s uncertainty index just reached an all-time high. Fun times ahead. Higher, lower? Why now both? Let’s get this choppy phase behind us as soon as possible. Promise land awaits.
